1. Are you crazy or do you mean it?
I'm not crazy and I really mean it! In the Internet and globalization age everybody can buy or sell everything and more, so why not put up on sale the pixels of the most famous painting in History?

2. Why should I buy pixels on the Mona Lisa?
You can buy advertising spaces on footballers' T-shirts, on Formula One racers' helmets and uniforms, on skiers' tracksuits, on walls behind interviewees, on huge advertising posters at crossroads and on expressways, on the façades of buildings that are close to sculptures and works of art... so why not buy pixels on Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, which is universally regarded as the most famous painting in History?

3. How much does a pixel on the Mona Lisa cost?
The pixels on the Mona Lisa cost only $0,10 per pixels forever! That's a price you can pay to go down in History, isn't that? For visibility reasons you can't buy less than 100 pixels at a time in batches of 10 x 10 pixels, but no limit is set on the amount of pixel shares you can buy.

4. Can I buy all the pixels of the painting?
Of course you can! If you want you can be the only sponsor of the first painting in History to have its pixels sold through the Internet.

5. Why the pixels of the painting are not all on sale?
I decided to exclude some areas of the painting from purchase just in your interests, to make sure the Mona Lisa will keep recognizable in progress of time. Otherwise, on what would you buy pixels?

7. Who are you?
I'm a young doctor and I'm sensitive to the charm of history and art. I also have a craze for the Internet. Maybe that is why I had this idea, which is for some aspects unique of its kind. Apart from that I firmly believe in the possibility of helping my neighbor with my job. After obtaining a medical degree at the University of Bologna (in Italy) I attended a three-year training course in Homeopathy, then I started a four-year course in Acupuncture and now I'm in my second year. I've been working for three years as a professional man in the field of non-conventional medicines and food intolerances.

8. What will you do with your profits?
If my idea is successful, I will invest my profits in the project of my life: creating a medical centre surrounded by greenery. A place where we can help people improve their quality of life through a healthy, correct way of eating, treat illnesses through natural medicines, control stress through... if you want to know more please contact me!. What I have in mind is a centre that can also be a place for study, research and prevention, and that can teach people to follow the basic rules for a longer, healthier life.

9. And now the usual question: how long will the site be on line?
The site will remain on line for 5 years, during which it will be possible to go on buying the available pixels or the pixels that will become available if someone withdraws their link. Should the advertising spaces on the Mona Lisa be sold out, I will give you the opportunity to buy new ones thanks to another idea I'm working on... please keep tuned!
